No matter the friends alert lag, Plurk is way more reliable than Twitter. It's actually **working**!

I had the same problem a few days ago. It went away as mysteriously as it came.

That's a good point, Scoble didn't get on Plurk for a length of time so some folks might have tried to friend him more than once.

Since my first week on Plurk my alerts show a list of about 60 friends with the status "needs to confirm" though they've clearly done so.
