a big chicken and e-mailed the school secretary to find out what the criteria was for end of the year awards. I hope I had the right e-mail
and I hope she e-mails me back today. I hate being one of THOSE parents, but I honestly feel like a mistake was made. I'm just not sure
how to get them to realize that without becoming one of THOSE parents or coming across as a total poor sport pouting that my kid didn't get
something. Especially since that's not the case. I just really feel like with a 102% for the year, the award was suppose to go to him rather
than the child with the 73% for the year!

she e-mailed me back and said the teachers meet and determine the kids who get the awards. I still don't see how on earth she got one. You
have to be doing something that definitely isn't get an award if you are doing that poorly in p.e. Oh well. At least I know that it wasn't
an administrative error - although I'm not 100% convinced it's not that but I guess it's time to move on.

well, you did the right thing. Maybe she loved p.e. but was just really terrible at it? (who gets a C in p.e., btw)
