I wonder this too. I have 41 friends and 15 fans. I'm not adding any new friends unless it is someone I already know. This may change as/if

I learn to use Plurk better. I don't know yet.

only 44 friends...I find it easier to keep up on plurk, particularly with the time difference. I can catch up on northern hemisphere chats

I like the chat feature as well - ability to choose which chats to monitor- unnerving the number of new responses every few minutes tho

Isn't it? I'm trying to train myself not to come back here every time the tab shows a new plurk. I'm not doing well so far!

I do that too..Hopefully the novelty will wear off soon and I'll learn to ignore that pesky little tab!

I think we will have to learn to use the mute function; otherwise it will become impossible to keep up with all the good stuff!

I have 106 friends and 50 fans. I'm up to almost 900 on Twitter. I'm trying to keep my plurk network smaller.

I feel badly when I don't Friend my Fans, especially if they have come to Plurk because of my blog post or screencast.

I have 58/8 and will have to analyze relationships as I get into plurk more. I don't think it will be a problem...at least hope not!

The conversations take so many different twists and turns because of the ability of people to follow and then add. More like conversation

I follow the same people here as in twitter. Find this fun but still find twitter easier to communicate with.
