Fox aired altered photos of NYTimes reporters with yellow teeth, widened features. Stay classy Fox (s_unsure)

I honestly don't understand how such a large portion of our country relies on them for news.

Fox isn't the first news publication to do this sort of thing...some might remember the darkened image of OJ on the cover of Time.

I saw that earlier! Fox News sucks

is Fox run by angry 11-year olds? That was very juvenile to say the least

i watched their election coverage and they weren't like this. It seems that a lot problems originate from that morning show.

The WWE of news/ Holy fuck, djskyler already said it - incredibly juvenile. Of course McMahon is much more heart-warming than O' Reilly.

I was hoping that was a joke. Yay journalistic integrity (s_annoyed)

hey, don't smear all journalists with Fox News feces. Be actually fair and actually balanced.

Fox is one of the worst...but yellow journalism seems to be up and running these days.

guess I'm one -- generalize much?
Despil です says

sorry templestark, I just know journalists through the papers. Probably there are a lot of honest ones, but they are usually hidden.

thanks for "fandom." Discussion in microblogs is surface talk until it evolves over time. 1 reason, not sure if others will really "engage"
templestark thinks

people forget all the basic good journalism because the bad will always be more memorable to those predisposed to see it.
Despil です says

templestark: you have to agree that the bad: good journalism ratio is heavily skewed toward the bad.
Despil です says

and while you won't believe it, I always try to assume the best. Now, imagine if I was predisposed...
templestark

No i don't agree at all. There are hundreds of thousands stories daily, features, city beat everything that are just there. There's A LOT.
templestark

people don't write n about those as often so the reporter gets the call, thanks, but what gets aired more is the negative stream. Truly.
