I'd probably do one...three's a lot of negative ease, and it's probably the sort of thing you want to wear a tank under or something.
if i knit the 40" version, it would be one inch of negative ease across the boobs and 3 inches of positive ease in the waist area...
and i don't know if i want it that loose across the waist...
it's important to allow the blood to circulate in the boob area, though. Maybe if you used very, very stretchy yarn?
i was planning on using either knitpicks essential or gloss... i suppose i could always do some waist shaping?
that'd be the smart thing to do. i can't believe it's taken me this long to think of it...
i'm going to go with the essential. it'll be a little cheaper, therefore giving me more sock yarn money! woo!
also machine washable, which is nice. The new kettle dyed colorways are pretty, too.
they are pretty, but they're more expensive than the gloss. and i have my eye on a certain skein of rio de la plata, see.
I'm using kona bay "divine" I got it for $1 a ball, so I'm not beating myself up for not knitting it yet.
ooooooooooh, solid it is, then
to save yet MORE money, i can use a skein of brown essential that i have for the ribbing.
which color are you planning on doing most of it in?
just ordered the rio de la plata, and has decided to wait a little longer to buy the essential kettle dyed for her sweater
that's a good choice. Pic of the rio?
what are you knitting for the olympics?
well, I was in the Pomatomus Posse in Team Mine, but... I dropped out.
and why? You should totally join team teen.
i have way too much going on during the Olympics time frame that it's really for the best.
this is much better for my sanity, GPA, and the safety of everyone in a 50 mile radius.
best of luck with all that, then!
i had joined teen team a few days before the teen team was formed
i mean team mine... i've been up WAY too long today..
