Ew. Everyone should be able to read, write, and do algebra. Even if you go into a "career." How will they balance budgets / read contracts?

New Trier had a career track; you had to take the core requirements, but not the college acceptance courses

they also recommended you take advanced shop, cooking, art classes, or auto maintenance, instead of the science/math classes you're missing

i know NT had a lot of resources, but i feel like... if you don't have those resources, you are only doing the kids a disservice. ugh.
