I have no idea. I started them all loose. . .went up real gradual. . .
wow. . . i am confused and P O'ed
Huh??? That's really strange!
I am scratching my head, looking online for an answer. . .but I am dumbfounded at this point. They were definitely in the right pitch are
*area, and should be able to be tightened even more from there. . .
I was really looking forward to getting the 12-string up again. . .though I have been enjoying the electric
too bad.. I am sorry - that must be very frustrating!
I have never played the guitar, so I have no idea what the problem could be
??? I'm gonna take it down the the guitar shop tomorrow. . . it might have been a bad pack of strings but I don't really see how
that sounds like a good idea - are there different kinds of strings?
Yeah, there's a bazillion. I am confused because 1, these are the same strings I got a couple weeks ago. when i put those on, i put them on
way too tight, but they did play fine for a while, then i lowered them. So i know these strings can go real tight
and 2, i put these on real loose and went up a little at a time, to avoid the issue i had a couple weeks ago.. .
You can imagine my shock when 1 snapped. . then three more went as i continued to adjust
well, hopefully they were just faulty or the people at the guitar shop can at least tell you what the problem might have been
LOL! This is under my skin! I was looking forward to it plus I didn't really want to spend money on the 2nd set, I just wanted to replace
them right away since that is the reason the guitars have set idle for so long - they needed a little work and a little money
Now I need a THIRD set, and if I don't know what happened, how do I make sure i don't happen again? HAHAHA!
well, if they were faulty, then they should replace them without you having to pay for them again, I would think
I hate dealing with that 1, I ordered them online, 2 How do they know it wasnt my fault. You are right, though.
online? ok. I thought you got them at the shop..
I am annoyed with this program I am trying to learn because it looks NOTHING like the pictures of it in the tutorial I am reading!
It is an open source program that is supposed to be very similar to Photoshop
good. i'm not the only one spinning wheels.
Yeah, I tend to steal software. If I ever start making money with their stuff - then I'll pay for it. Bad way to look at it, probably -
but what's photoshop? like $300 or more?
it can run (I think) $800..
open source software is always free.
it's way more than I care to spend right now
or even have for that matter
i have spent so much time on it tonight that I could have spent doing other things, that I am irritated at myself for doing it
i know how that feels, but you always learn something. . . like "some open source stuff doesn't live up to the hype"
it's a bummer you didn't get it worked out. is it you or the program? i mean, is it a steep learning curve?
i think it is the tutorial. It leaves out many steps and info on getting around the program
just before I closed it out I clicked around one more time, and figured out something I hadn't gotten before
