what was the problem with the family plan?

from the looks of the plans listed on their website, you can't have a normal familytalk plan.

iPhone 3G plans appear to require two iPhones ... not an iPhone and some other type.

I had to break off my family's plan when I bought the first iphone. I nice piece of information the ATT sales guy left out.
