a trick i use is the same email for everything then use the "+" to delim how you want to flag the emails - so for signup emails until i'm ..

certain that the company is reputable i just have a filter that any email address to me that contains "+signup" is dumped to trash folder

just glad gmail does such a great job of filtering out spam. Thankfully most spam sent to my personal account ends up in the spam folder.
