I feel ya. But I'm sure it's also very gratifying as well. That's the perks about being on the leading edge.
it is. a bicyclist hit a car. i thought he was dead the way he was lying in the road.
I gotta say, being a photog seems to be daunting work. I know the photogs at the paper take routine, rotating 'mini-vacations.'
...I have total repect for news photogs...and a total lack of respect for TV News crews (Very Long Story)
the small paper I work for isn't bad. And I handle pressure pretty well. For the most part its fun!
I interned at a station and it's a different perspective and they have their "ways"
sometimes it's hard to remain "professional" when the story is so moving.
we had a police officer shot/kill & I had to help cover the funeral. The whole thing was surreal.
you have to keep i together but internally you can feel overwhelmed when it's happening and still keep doing your job
