I ditched a car commute for the train when I switched jobs.

And it will be 2.5 hours (total) when we move next month. Starting to listen to podcasts to kill the time.

gas prices here are nuts in Canada too (not like UK though). I bought a Civic Hybrid last month and it helps a bit.

rlux - I agree. In our new house I'll have an office so definitely will work more from home.
