that's the main reason why I won't be buying an iPhone

at&t actually. they've provided great service.. and the best customer service i've seen in a *really* long time.

currently on Verizon, which is worse than most might think. Hell, AT&T might even be an improvement.

on AllTel who are ok, and is worried what's going to happen when Verizon take over at year end...

keeps getting pestered by AT&T here to have landline (expensive) and DSL (slow).

doesn't have earbuds. I have just got a Motorola HT820 which is quite useful. I can walk around while talking on skype now too

that an iPhone may not be what you want. Not sure what you want exists though.
