What's a normal mobile web browser?

Opera?

firefox, ie, whatever you use for web on your phone.

but the entire CTIA focus for the last 5 years has been on seeking out the next killer app, and all along it's been on their devices

I need to try the new release of Opera Mobile. Wonder if it works with the VPN client on my Centro.

exactly! CTIA needs a clue cut from Occam's Razor

if it doesn't go through an app vending step where the telco gets a nice $2-5 fee every month, it's not a killer app

Opera is open source, I'd go for it. Not that crud Motorola put on my phone.

i had opera on my A780, it was a nice browser, but moto disabled all SSL so sad panda

on one hand i think its kinda brilliant from a profit perspective: people all think they need something special to use the web via phone.

i did have an epiphany earlier though. i'm going to mute all plurks complaining about social networking mobile apps being buggy.

yeah, and anyone looking to do deals with telcos plays into this by telling them that their internet apps are compatible with their systems
