depends, if you're considering an ipod touch, then get that one, if it's ipod classic vs zune it doesn't matter as much with drm-free music

but the ecosystem around the ipods are still the best in terms of user experience for buying music

I won't make a decision for a few months yet. I'm more confused than I was yesterday after reading reviews for each side.
