for design work, i thought it had to be more complex than that. you won't be able to get an rss feed off of mine.

you should give users the content how they want it. Choices are good for users

that good design is important too.

I know you don't like blog looking stuff, but it would get you started quick while you build something custom

there are LOTS of unusual templates out there for free or little cost

tumblr.com is another option to get you up and running quickly

my thought is to get it up quick and evolve it as time allows

no, godaddy is just one of the many options. I'm sure there are better ones. Stay away form network solutions though
