cause it's not important in the grand scheme of things.

the point of the poem was that black girls have no choice, they are taken advantage of and looked down upon not only b/c they are black

but also b/c they are women so she has to learn to deal with fucking w/o grace cuz that's all she has

yeah I know what you mean. The poem is kinda powerful though and kinda really depressing. She starts out with all this hope in the beginning
