I like WordPress for all its features-- especially creating separate pages-- but want to blog somewhere with more sense of community.

I used to use Xanga but feel it's too "busy" now and too teenager-ish.

I could use edublogs but then I'd feel beholden to sticking to professional topics. And I really don't want to maintain more than one blog.

what do you think? (I know, this has become a blog post in and of itself!)

M. I agree... I tried out Blogger a little and didn't like it, though it's nice how much it's integrated with Google stuff.
