WAY TO BE CAPTAIN BUSYPANTS.
WAY TO BE IN AMERICA AGAIN, DEAR.

i will keep you company until then!
I AM HERE! and hungry. but too scared to go out, hahaha
hah yeahhhhh. it's different i hear. but hey, you might be able to use from french if you go to some more ghetto areas of town!
or nicer..i cant remember which way it went
yeah i want to go to the french quarter thinger!
there's a reason there's a city there called baton rouge
maybe!
i havent heard any french yet, but I'm hoping to head to the french quarter tomorrow with my roommie
creole from what i understand is pretty hard to parse even for native french speakers
wikipedia says it's a stable language
french as a 'substrate' with african, amerindian and english words
rather that's hatian creole, lousiana creole is a derivative of haitian
hrm, neat.

GO INVESTIGATE, KINA
i was going to say everything chriska said about creole lol
one of the cashiers at work speaks it...and everyone just assumed he spoke french, but when people try and speak to him en francais he
doesn't usually understand what they're saying
well he speaks english too lol
i had a Haitian friend at college and he spoke creole and french AND english but i couldn't understand him in any language
bahahaha. is haitian french similar to north african french?
hatians speak hatian creole
i guess it includes african words
mixed dialects hurt my brain. it's bad enough understanding the super southern ("suthun") people here.
