it was too short.
Yeah. And you got to try out a new character role!
And I finally playtested the barbarian and found it much to my liking.
that thing was freaking broken.
Naw, tons of flaws. Easy-to-hit defenses, sub-par hit rate and init lower than Lil' Wayne's pants.
Yeah. My defender can kill it.
This was a different one, though. Warforged instead. Almost identical to the goliath though.
Apparently he fares better against enemy mobs than he did getting ganked by a warden and a cleric. LOL.
It was broken by my died-twice and used up all the heal surges standards.
Naw, he still had five or six surges left when the kobolds finally broke him to bits. Lol.
KOBOLDS almost killed TAWS, too.
Well, there WERE only two of us. For a couple of strikers we lasted pretty long.
Double backstab potential, what!
HEY. There was a kobold wiz involved,
Ryvaeus.
...double backstab? How many rogues does Alpha Wolf Squadron have?! X_x
O right, one of you was a barbie. My bad. XD
Well, one of
phantasmaninja's best friends wants to join the team, too. Idk what she'll be yet. Could be a rogue. XD
What've we got on the team so far? So I can build a proper rival.
Warlord + Defender + Striker (ranged) = Tactical SWAT team XD
TAWS has a human ranger, human paladin, tiefling rogue, dagronborn warden.
incumarc: AY PWEDE. Buhayin mo ulit yung badingdash mong warlord!
We're all online, what the heck happened to Y!M conferences? Did it become baduy all of a sudden? *feels old*
KamikazeJam has a hard time with YM confes since her internet keeps betraying her. And...uhh, I dunno. People chat more on Plurk and FB
I miss those too. In fact, I miss our Y!M conference RP sessions XD
Bri, when he gets his hands on a greatspear, he'll be even deadlier. Considering making a Shadar-Kai Chain Warlord too, if ever >.>
Or if it's ranged striker...maybe I'll take warlock. Gah, must resist temptation to go arcane again.
Er. When i was talking about no mo health surges, I meant Flint.
Lol. I thought "broken" was referring to the robot's unfairness.
But yeah, the difference between Flint and Al was just wtf.
Maybe I shoulda actually taught you how to play a ranger, in hindsight. >_>
yes, how do you play a ranger?
Basically, you pile all your multiple attacks on one target at a time. You also use mobility to cherry-pick targets and fight one at a time.
The automatic Toughness feat you get is misleading; they're NOT meant to engage multiply baddies at once.
My sister abuses Twin Strike. XDDD
Toughness? What does that do again?
also, er. I don't understand the mobility bit.
Toughness gives you +5 HP. at 11th level, it'll be +10. 21st, +15.
Rangers should move around a lot, to harass only one target at a time, preferably their Hunter's Quarry. That's mobility
OMG, Twin Strike + Hunter's Quarry. v.v
And don't underestimate Nimble Strike. The flavor text says it's good for running away, but the power is just as useful for Flanking, too.
talalala: Remember, Quarry only applies to one attack per round.
Ryvaeus: Lol, yeah. I forget, did I ever use it that way as Dugger?
