I mean, yay for the team at Friendfeed.. but now that app will languish in the dead pool while Facebook uses the talent it just acquired...

to shore up its crappy social networking site. Maybe they'll improve it. Who knows.

but enough about my opinion: what do you think of this one?

they were a good technical team, but building a new social network is pretty difficult

at facebook they already have the users so they can just focus on the technical stuff - probably search/realtime

basically my people won't leave on masse twitter and facebook which is what friendfeed had to deal with
