a bottle of Westons Organic right here, and it is 6.5%. That counts as "quite strong really" I would say.

Can you cut the fermented cider with, say, organic apple juice? Would that work?

I don't really think so, though I have never tried. Something about it does not sound quite right. Perhaps with the more cloudy ciders.

You don't try to cut wine with grape juice either (I hope my late grandad, a vintner, hasn't heard me even saying that!)

Well, it was a hopeful thought. I wasn't sure there was as much of a flavor change as betw grape juice & wine (can't stand booze personally)
