doesn't think the cats would let it grow. instant gratification, they want.

it's a mint, it will ust bush up more if they pick at it. I mow it down at my mom's and it springs right back

the problem is they don't pick at it, they ravage it - or at least the cats around here do.

Yikes!! It is a wild weed at my mom's house, grows anywhere it gets a chance. The cats would lay around and chew on a bent over sprig.

yeah, the various price points on herbs is so crazy...

I've taken to buying my herbs and spices only at the Asian market or in bulk at Whole Foods

if we had a backyard I might try a catnip patch, but I don't think an individual indoor planting would last long.
