they used to sell it at berkeley bowl--not sure they still carry it, but it was with the other rices in the bulk section

does it have to be prepared special? Grateful cafe doesn't cook anything over like 100 degrees.

nah, it's basically a pretty quick-cooking rice, and is naturally kind of nutty-flavoured. water and maybe a pinch of salt if you want

heres some recipes. of course, the bhutanese cook it plain and have it with spicy curries :-)
