Mashable thinks Plurk is the MySpace of microblogging. Your thoughts?

it's because Twitter *looks* elegant and simple, while Plurk *looks* too customizable and chaotic. I say there has to be a better analysis.
Actually I would see Twitter being closer to MySpace -- ie Twitter as Cocktail Party
But if Plurk is the MySpace of microblogging, where does that position Plurk? Facebook? Ning? Bebo perhaps?
Interesting, I kind of agree that twitter could turn into that really. Poeple trying to get a s many followers as poss and following a lot.
We on twitter think we are a bit superior to MySpace and Facebook, but is it really any different?

they're different mediums, providing very different services. they all have their place.
if plurk is myspace, where are all the 16 year old girls sending me boob shots?
I mean over 25 year olds *cough*
linkedin of microblogging? not really.
hmm we have been considering Twitter the way 10 Downing Street has been using it. Wouldn't use Plurk for a push type of service
