he has the same issue. Different friend counts and lists in different places.

if the tab next to the calendar at the bottom right of the timeline is set to 'only my Plurks'?

thats not it, the My Friends tab at the top of the page and the Friends section at the bottom don't line up.

neither do the sites of the people I added as friends, nor the alerts tab up top.

that both people you're fans of and people you're friends with are in My Friends, while just friends are at the bottom.

my alerts tab says I'm friends, but I show up in neither Friends place.

there it is. I guess it just takes a bit to sync up.
