I thought it was "knit something and exchange it with someone else"

but all the ones I've seen are "mail someone special soaps and chocolates, baking kits and etc"... and don't have much to do w/ knitting!

it's all about making a special little package

my hockey group had some people knit some stuff for the big swap we did

some people knit a little something special and included it with a special package

i always read the person's questionaire and find out what they like and dislike and pick up trinkets and baubles for them

a special skein of yarn, maybe a special pattern

hmmm, I guess. I thought it was about learning how to knit with other people and sharing your knitting...

but I can see how both ways would be fun

not so much it's about getting fun mail

rather than bills and crappy junk mail
