heard nice things about Huskisson, but it's a bit caravan park, not beachside villa. Depends what you're after.

Port Stephens is lovely, but Port Macquarie is even better, particularly for families, in my opinion. It's worth the extra drive.

Probably Port MacQauarie north - maybe Nowra south

Culburra in the south is a nice spot

GoaldeeBug I'm familiar with Culburra - it's nice. Some friends have a place in Greenwell Point which we go to quite often.
