Thanks so much for saying that! Some of my collegues think I'm crazy, but I like to spend my time interacting with my Kinders during the day

Very seldom do I bring work home. I feel like I need to be Mrs. Chiappone at school & mom at home. The 2 don't mix well!

So I spend most of my preps & lunch grading & planning so I don't have to do it at home.

Granted now that its Volleyball season, I'm bringing more home than I'd like!

jameelie , I should have added that sometimes the work is physical and sometimes it is purely emotional. Don't let the work invade your

time with your family. You have to find the balance. I only have one prep hour for preparing seven different classes every day. So...I get

creative. There are days that I bring a lot of work home and days that I don't bring anything home. If you don't prioritize what has to be

done, it could drive you crazy. Use every moment you have at school to prep and correct. Rely on the resources you have to get work done.
