he dosent read for pleasure, but rather for information. Recieved a bunch of "for dummies" books

he recieved office 2007, blogging, video blogging, PHP 5, Win XP (desk reference) Creating webpages (desk reference) for dummies

he also got the book "Creating online communitys in Drupal, PHPbb, and wordpress" book (not "for dummies")
