Absolutely. Well worth the read. One of my favorite series.

I read the first one and it was so painful it turned me off to the series. But I have them all here to read.

yeah. I could barely finish it. It was a great plot and likeable characters. But the writing... yikes.

But I hear a lot of people say that the first one is awful but the subsequent novels are great.

Well since I read the painful first one? Me... I tell people the first one was painful but that I hear all the rest are great.
