Do you equate this new promotion to Year of a Million Dreams and What Will You Celebrate?
I just thought is was a promotion to encourage people to volunteer. I didn't think it was equal to YOMD or Celebrate.
looks like the Disney construction crew is building houses with Habitat for Humanity!
even the hard hats have ears!
I certainly hope this doesn't replace the year of a million birthdays... though stupid in some respects, it at least has reach into the park
I like the fact that they're offering a special fast pass for up to 6 people if you already have a multiday ticket or AP. And the kids can
earn the tickets also, which is nice. I think it's kind of in conjunction with the What will you Celebrate, at least that's how it looks on
the Disney Travel Agents site.
Exactly, between this promo and what the teen stars have been promoting on the Disney Channel, maybe it will get more families to give their
time to their community or to charities that desperately need help, especially since donations are down so much with this economy.
as long as it doesn't replace whatever "annual" promotion is going on, I think it's fine
though, as an economist, I can't see it making any sense for a lot of people
I never got anything from the Year of a Million Dreams except for a pair of mousears. Didn't help me out much.
I think a 1 day ticket to the parks is a better value and look at what you're giving to get it!
socializing volunteer work, Obama is getting to the mouse! Seriously, if people won't volunteer round the community give'em something in ret
seriously they would get $72 of labor instead of just regular unpayed volunteer work.
If I go to a Disney Park I will have a multi-day pass, so a single day ticket is worthless for me. The $75 giftcard for the birthday...
...promotion made more sense. I would probably do this if they offered that this time around, but for a Fastpass... MEH.
It's a promotion....not "the" promotion.
(Or a multi-day pass) But BFD. I'm not a pin collector.
Neither am I....personally I thought the Year of a Million Trinkets was stupid and a did little to drive attendance.
They need to stop the promos and just put the money into discounts.
