I love Toni Morrison's writing style. She has a really unique outlook on everything and her words flow along the page.

when it was explaining one thing it went way to far off track to explain every detail and was hard to follow

: When you listen to people tell stories- esp southerners, the story line wanders around. A type of dialect actually.

Read T.R. Pearson for a good example. The first sentance of the book takes a full page.

Hard to get into the book at first. The book didn't get right to the point and I didn't like that.

Yeah it was like she cared more about just trying to get everyone's perspective but not really stating her central theme.

I didn't care too much about the book. However, I do like all the themes that were throughout it.

I feel that we could've spent more time on it though, cuz there's a lot more to cover.
