This tells us that individual students at Wheatland have more money spent on their education than students at other schools.
come on, though...what are the implications of that fact?
we get more money spent on us? is that some sort of joke? i find that very hard to believe
our school actually is a really nice school if you think about how much money has been spent over the last few years to improve everything.
maybe we just know how to budget well? or we're really bad at it and just blowing it all
I agree with omar. people always complain how bad wc is... but if you really actually think about everything is it really that bad?
well this is mostly because of no child left behind
im not sure how big monroe country is, but its hard to believe that of all the schools out there this one gets more money per student
that either means we have really high taxes, or as omar said, we don't know how to spend the money efficently.. class rooms could be a lot
better, and maybe we could actually hire people that can install heaters properly, so we don't freeze in winter for once..
its amongst public schools tho not like the private ones. and really heat is the only problem in our school and thats a given for any school
Well, to relate your question to the readings ad what we've been discussing, maybe it has to do with.....race!
maybe..people see the students here as having more potential than others like in the city, so they're putting more money
into our schools...? idk..I'm just trying to look at it from a racial pov..but I don't know if I believe that or not.
heheheheeheheehehehheeheh
you don't have to believe it, em..maybe it is just coincidental that all suburban schools in monroe county spend more money per putpil than
any city school...but i guess i find THAT hard to believe..just knowing people that work in the city as well...you guys think wc is bad?
i'm not saying all the city schools are bad; they're not..freddie thomas is brand new...but the infrastructure and politics
are really hard to overlook. bri-if you don't believe me, ask Dr. B or Mr. G. think about how SMALL we are...it's very expensive
to run this place..and yes, scottsville taxes are pretty darn high
btw...i'm playing devil's advocate on a lot of this...the opinions are all personal and no one is wrong
No more!!!!!!
well think about how many kids we have it could be just as much as rochester
they have so many more schools and kids if they spend a dollar on every kid and theres
and we spend 10 on every kid but theres 100 kids its the same amount of money
i think its good that we spend money on our educations
i think this school graduates alot of kids that are going to make a difference in life
in the reading it said "50 percent drop out"
this statistic is because of the large amout of kids that attend city schools and the large amount that drop out
so how many drop outs are going to have a positive affect on society?
and again with the school size in numbers
thats 50% of kids from city schools and other public schools
the number of kids dropping out in city schools is going to make that percentage go way up
cosby said "50 percent of blacks drop out" and the reading showed that it wasn't true
is pretty flippant and unresponsible...he doesn't know what he's talking about! statistics are incorrect!
maybe it is because we have alot less students
