the doc had a set up so I could see what was going on.
it was fucked up to see her drilling in to my roots.
warning gross detail to folllow:
one of the roots was really infected and she said it had pus in it and smelled gross.
it is currently packed in antobiotics for a few days, then some calcium hydroxide next week for a month.
then I get the roots filled again in a month.
my horrible sleep preventing tooth pain is over though...nice to sleep without drugs.
It was so bad this weekend, I almost passed out and vomited.
this particular tooth had a root canal on it 3 years ago...I think the old codger who did it messed it up...hence the reinfection
I jumped from "warning" to "good times", from my perspective, it sounds like it went great
I had one after falling though a roof face first when I was 10 (which also explains my stunning good looks).
It was 34 years ago, and probably the worst medical experience I've had in my life. I feel for ya Dr. A!
And it is nice to have the pain gone and be able to sleep. I believe one cannot overrate a good night's sleep.
part 2 was monday....tooth was cleaned again and packed with a new cleaning agent. endodontist is concerned it may not work.
Pah! When will you find out?
when I go back, november 10th
Well, at least you can relish the lack of pain for now.
There will be no silver lining until it gets fixed. C'mon November 10th!
In sympathy to Dr. A's pain, I decided to throw my neck out. Ouch! WTB chiropractor...
I do it every couple of months actually. What sucks is makes my shoulder hurt, not my neck.
Fortunately, it seems to get better in a few days on its own. Which is good, because chiro is not in the budget these days!
I had shoulder pain, numbness, tingling, the works, for like 2 months, physical therapy for 2 months did nothing. A few weeks with a chiro
and im about fixed. Something in my neck was pinching a nerve.
That's what usually happens to me. I seem to be good at self adjusting most of the time so I don't hit the chiro...
unless it lasts more than a couple of weeks.
On a pain note: I smashed my right pinky toe last night doing a kick incorrectly. Man it hurts!
