Dear Firefighters fundraiser person, When I donated $40 last year that didn't mean I was ok with you calling me every week asking for more.

that's the trouble with donating & it's sometimes sad when an org spends so much money on following calls&postage...

...that i swear my original donation has been wiped out by their costs with that

I had a blood donation place do that for a long time.

Once I couldn't donate blood because I had surgery scheduled. They had the nerve to ask when it was in a very rude/skeptical tone.

THEN they called back to ask what kind of surgery it was. I told them, so then felt the need to inform me that no, I couldn't give blood.

and this is an election year, too...consider your experience a warmup to calls and letters from assorted candidates.
