Wow～ has it flown such a long time!?

alanbird: yes, it was launched in Sept of 1997...it spent 7 years in cruise mode (using planetary gravitational pull to gain velocity)....

alanbird: it performed SOI (Saturn Orbit Insertion) in July of 2004.. and released its counterpart, Huygen probe, in Jan of 2005

it's so amazing!! just remember NGC or Discovery has introduced it's exploring adventure on Saturn..by the way the probe robot is so quite!
