Because the perfect wedding is supposed to make the perfect marriage. It's alogical but what people think.

also thinks that people go into marriage with this idea of how things should "be" instead of how they necessarily "are"...

Also the wedding is meant to be a once in a lifetime thing, so they want it to be shmick...Whereas they have a whole lifetime to 'work'

On their marriages

cause thats what the meanstream tells they to do. and the meanstream also tells them that they could divorce also

I think I'd have to be in a pretty horrible marriage to consider divorce. I mean like he'd have to be abusive or habitual liar and cheater

well at lease u know the reason why u may do it. others just do what they see on tv

I don't think it's cool to be one of those people that gets married every six months then divorces or annuls two weeks after

that's a ridiculous way of thinking...but then feels it's more about people not dealing with personal issues in life

the people that marry that much, need to first fix whatever is conflicting in their life

I look forward to getting married someday, but I don't think it should be something people just rush into thinking, "Oh if it doesn't work-

I can just get a divorce."
