Or maybe, owning an iphone means I can check my email, listen to my music, and doing everything i need to without signing onto a computer.
And all for a decent monthly price. :]
seems like an iPhone is really just a functional piece of hardware.
I dont have a cell phone at all.
do they also have a plug in dildo?
nor me Tillie, I gave up on them because I kept forgetting to charge up, take it out with me etc
Creamster , I actually believe they do have an app for that
If I wanted status, i'd buy a house in the Hamptons, not an iphone.
I'd get one if they weren't AT&T only
Aww Grey Gardens is fabu. I want it.
now replying to this plurk from his iPod via iPlurk. I believe this exact use proves it's not just a status symbol. (Buying an iPhone soon)
agrees.
dude, you can't even spell ME, so sit down and wait till someone calls your name.
Woah, cool it. Remember this new thing called typos? Yeah, that old thing.
when he lays off of insulting other people and his superiority complex, then his typos will slide.
i'm caving in and getting a iphone in January
jesus just get out the tape measure and compare sizes already and then grow the hell up
stop flirting with me, sands.
SecondSecrets has iPhone envy!

*while I iPhone Plurk!*
I <3 my iPhone. It's much easier to stomach plurk from bed.
Did anyone catch the shewolf at the top?
My HTC Touch Pro 2 is way better than iPhone
LL Cool Twist, Sands basically said the poster is stupid for saying something with no foundation. He didn't say "I'm better than you." -.-
Apple fans are basically acting like Apple has invented the smartphone, which is simply not true.
Apple made it accessible even for people with no brains to use one at highly inflated prices, that's what happened.
hey now! I might be a bit of an emotard but don't be dissing on my phone!
My phones could check email, listen to music, sign on to instant messengers and do all other things way back in J2ME era.
just because you (the person who wrote this plurk) cant afford one doesnt mean you have to be bitter like this
RikaWatanabe, technically they did reinvent the smartphone. They reinvented it in Mac OS X form.

(The underlying core is a minimized...
But on a serious note, they didn't actually reinvent it but improved it by a lot. The apps and people's willingness to join the iPhone apps.
...market is one piece of evidence.
Then again, it's all about your own opinion on the matter. Like the fact I personally dislike Windows Mobile and Symbian. My Nokia won't...
...stop crashing or getting stuck in a loop saying "System error!", forcing a reboot. -.-
crashed the iPod Touch very quickly, took her a few days to crash a Symbian S60v5.
notes Apple's iPod touch and iPhone appear to crash when the app itself crashes. It's not their own fault.
a Symbian S60v3, and managed to crash the phone at least 4 or 5 times when his iPod itself never crashed.
An OS that crashes when an app crashes is just wrong.
They
*appear* to crash. The "black screen and back to home" thing means the app crashed, not the OS.
I didn't say the OS crashes when an app does.
My iphone OS has never crashed. Infact I haven't rebooted it more than twice since i got it in july >.<
rebooted it a few times. Then again, I got it in August '08 and I have almost 100 apps.
