Dude, you are nuts. I love my Mac, wish I could use its power with photos and such like you are/were.

They really are not that great and for the price and no way to cover damage I don't think its worth it. They don't do any more than my dell

In fact, I think its been two years since I last rebuilt this Mac, and it runs like a champ. Win7 was the earliest I ever adopted an OS.

I guess my point with the mac is it would be good to sit on my desk and plurk but for work, its just more work and expensive if it breaks.

If I setup a pc at the house with an awesome Vid card and can run mac I get best of both worlds for 1k less!

Actually a lot. Forcing yourself to play on an alternate platforms, hardware and software, is valuable to your skill set.

Plus it keeps you in "Linux" to a degree.

Nope hardly ever used linux on my mac, well not true I used it to look at the syslog to see why it was freezing up in Snow
