I just find it really pointless and confusing.

It's not confusing. I find getting Tweetie much easier. It's a beautiful Mac app that shows your tweets and the ones of people you're -c-

following. You can easily respond, retweet (when you find something interesting), and tweet right from Tweetie. Plus, it's very nice.

But it's still pointless and hard for chat with many people. I like plurk because I can follow Matt and his friends and get in their convos.

I prefer Plurk's system, but Twitter is more popular and not everyone has Plurk.
