have fun!

just started volunteering at the middle school, too. It's sad how little help they have the older the kids get.

the volunteer coordinator at the middle school and it's like pulling teeth sometimes to get enough help. I've got a list of people who SAID

at orientation that they could help - of the 110, I've heard from about 10 when I send out requests for help. My list is brokend down by

grade and I've got about 60 6th grade parents, about 30 7th grade parents, and about 15 8th grade parents! There's always more 6th grade

helpers than 8th grade - I'm guessing by then people really feel like their kids are ok and they don't need to be around as much

I could help out at the middle school...but I've never been asked ...I volunteer at both of the other 2 schools in our distict, but

middle school never asks...so we get the feeling that they don't want us there
