i've played all 3 and each had their strong points. wii is great for group gatherings but i find is really funky even with the snes

i loved the xb controller and the system itself, and the games I like. they also had the next level of up phantasy star online

PS3 has nothing to offer me whatsoever, the wii.. well it has fii fit and animal crossing, lol.

but the paying to play online is stupid. we already PAY for our internet.

i do like the legacy game downloads for wii, and i think xbox has it too.

I don't have a PS3 or XBox, but sometimes wish I did just cuz there's franchises that are ONLY on those systems...

Otherwise, I have a gaming PC. And that usually is enough.

i lost interest in the ff games until ff12 - the new mechanics definitely make it "wicked awesome". but hey, i also loved dirge of cerberus

really D: the mechanics are exactly what made ff12 seem boring to me..you program the game to play itself to get through the faux-MMO-tedium

haha. the lack of automation is what made ff8 so effin tedious! it makes grinding so less...painful.

i don't think you can outright browse the internet on the 360 like you can on the ps3, but they keep adding social connectivity and media

stuff...like you can sign onto MSN messenger from your xbox, and use netflix, and they just added some facebook something or other

if you already own a ps2 (which they do) then it doesn't really matter if it can play the old discs

because the old machine can still do that lol. outright net browsing = streaming video for us, we use it soooo much

lol, i can't see browsing net with a console when i have a laptop with me like 120% of the time

and the half assed backwards compatibility kind of sucks with the ps3 but like sarah said, i DO have a ps2...
