Plurk is much like a "forum" board, I've come to decide. You make a post, others reply. But you're limited by 140c and you can't "sort"

posts into folders like you can with a forum. But somehow, we all think this is cooler than "that" which makes little sense.

I think the bigger issue is understanding Plurkers and Twitterers, and why we feel the need to reinvent cute little mini-hammers, and

plastic screwdrivers, and other rather useless tools - yet here we all are!

AND KARMA is the GLUE that keeps us COMING BACK!

plurk is for wit, twitter is for work and the mundanities of factual life

Vaguery that sounds about right.. more wit is a good thing right now

wit sometimes signals a lack of other useful attributes; but sometimes it's just funny

plurk does not just become a place for displaced Twitter complaints and "social media" junk

Vaguery: the T complaints seem to have died down. In my PLN, very few mentions even of it. Mine has become increasingly professional,

but then most of my friends have pretty much left Twitter now.
