oh no..... What can go wrong with them?

autofocus isn't working. i usually focus manually so no idea when the problem started. so far i've cleaned the contacts with pink eraser.

I have a call in to my local camera shop in hopes it can be fixed. Lens is on our homeowners policy so I think i could order a new one.

i double checked the auto/manual switch.

that's too bad -- my digital has a built in zoom lens and won't focus clearly anymore. service is in order. sigh.
