You can get more activity on your timeline (meaning not just YOU adding to your screen), if you friend some people.

Go to Interesting Plurkers and click on buttons under Friends and Fans. Then you will be connected to others and when they plurk it will

appear on your timeline. Then you can reply to them like I did to your plurk.
