walks over to her, wearing a heavy against the cold.
her a nod. "Hey." He shivers against the cold.
rolls his eyes. "Says the girl whose lived in *Russia*."
shakes his head. "No, but it's colder in Russia in summer than it will *ever* be in Cuba. And your insane for dealing with that."
stares at her. "...If you say so."
nods. "Please? Any place in particular you want to go?"
nods, shivering violently as the wind picks up. "T-There's a seafood place not to far, if that's okay...?"
her a slight glare at her unaffected-ness, but nods and starts to lead the way.
glances at her. "...and it's colder than this in Russia?" He finds that hard to believe.
shudders at the very idea. "That's horrible, I'm sorry."
raises an eyebrow. "Doesn't Russia *own* Siberia?"
shrugs. "You were close enough." He jokes.
But your in the same country. Therefore I am right.
nods. "I will." They finally reach the restaurant and he opens the door for her
nods, hurrying inside himself, giving a happy sigh as the heat.
rolls his eyes. "There is no snow in *Cuba*." He repeats, ordering a table.
I saw some, today. It was weird. And cold. And wet.
shrugs. "I guess. ...But it's *cold*."
shakes his head. "Rain is not supposed to *freeze*."
nods. "Yeah, but when is it ever cold enough for that to happen?"
rolls his eyes. "Sure, sure."
blinks, amused. "And what was that for?"
nods in agreement. "'Cause you are *wrong*."
shakes his head. "Not all the time."
raises an eyebrow. "Oh yeah?"
shakes his head. "If you say so."
laughs. "Of course you are, hun."
raises his hands. "I ain't."
crosses his arms as well. "Am not."
raises an eyebrow. "You started it, hun."
laughs. "There wouldn't be anything to continue if you hadn't started it."
her a grin, but doesn't say anything. Then, the waiter comes over and asks if their ready to order.
orders salmon with two sides (green beans and mashed potatoes) and a soda. The waiter writes this down and turns to Natalia.
The waiter nods, writing the down and walks away. Alejandro turns to Bela and tries to think of a conversation starter. "So..."
So..uhm...how is your junior year going for you so far?
raises an eyebrow. "What do you mean? It's hasn't been so bad...aside from the fact that Ludwig's tackled me three times...and is my legal
guardian...and the security guard tasered me...and....okay, maybe it *hasn't* been the best first week...
sighs and nods. "Yeah. Got paperwork from my parents and everything."
nods in agreement. "It's not like I did anything....more than I usually do."
shrugs. "He said it was "temporary legal guardianship." So, I think he only has legal control over me for the school year...:
nods. "It does. I need places to hide from him, you know any?"
sighs. "I *try*. But he always finds me. He's like a hound dog."
raises an eyebrow. "What would be the fun in that?"
blinks. "Freedom? What's that?"
raises an eyebrow. "And we get this right...in school?"
nods. "...what a weird concept. "Freedom."."
nods. "Sure it is. Letting people do whatever they what? It'd be chaos."
raises an eyebrow. "Yeah? Like what?"
nods. "...But, if there were limits, it wouldn't really be freedom, would it?"
raises his hands. "Sorry, sorry."
nods. "I know, sorry, hun. It's reflex."
nods, and is grateful when the waiter comes back with their food.
nods at the waiter and takes a bite. He then looks up at her. "...It's only the first week of classes, though."
laughs. "Ludwig wouldn't trust anything I do. Especially if it were go get on his good side."
raises an eyebrow. "And do what?"
Even if I did nothing for the rest of the school year, Ludwig would be suspicious.
nods. "And he'd get really jumpy." He laughs. "Maybe I should do nothing. That would freak him out more than anything."
a little laugh as well, imagining it.
nods. "Maybe I should do that, for a week. Do nothing."
nods. "I think I will. I'll get Niels and Alex in on it too."
nods, leaning back. "It'll be good." He gives her a smile. "Thanks for the idea, hun."
Maybe you should start pranking as well, huum?
laughs. "You won't be hated. 'Sides. the other pranksters won't hate you."
nods in agreement, laughing a little.
laughs a little, leaning back in his chair.
laughs as well. "Which are never really awkward until you announce it."
laughs. "Which makes me wonder why people *do* announce it."
shrugs. "I dunno. *People*." He shakes his head.
nods, laughing. "*People*."
smiles. He then grabs the book of deserts and puts it in the table between them and starts flipping through it. "Up for some desert?"
nods, "Alright." and puts the book up.
nods. "Yeah, no problem. Least I could do for being a jerk."
shrugs. "Yeah, well..." He rubs the back of his neck nervously, smiling a little.
glances away, blushing a bit as well.
clears his throat. "So, uhm, I guess that's...about it?"
clears his throat once more, and stands up. He holds out a hand for her, blushing slightly. "Shall we go?"
her a smile and leads her out of the restaurant.
steps out side and immidately shudders as the cold wind hits him. "Fuck, I forgot how cold it was out here." He pulls his jacket tighter
around himself, but doesn't let go of Bela's hand
scoffs. "Says you." He also looks up. "...huh. Snowing again?"
looks at her and gives her a soft smile. "And here we are, caught in the snow."
her a grin. "Didja ever catch snowflakes on your tongue?" He then lifts his head up, sticking out his tongue and holds his arms out to the
side--and therefore her arm too.
laughs as well, tugging on her hand. "Come on, join me!"
blinks. "...I'm not gonna make fun of you."
a gasp as the snow hits his face, shivering at the cold. He wipes the snow off his face and gives her a challenging look. "Oh, it is on!"
dodges to the side, picking up some snow and throwing it at her, laughing as well.
jumps to the side to avoid it. He makes another one, shuffling towards her before throwing it.
gets hit in the shoulder. He grabs up another one, chasing her. "Come back here, you!"
throws the snowball at her back, hoping to catch her. He smirks. "Why, you aren't *scared* of me, are you?"
laughs. "I've got you now!" He picks up and arm load of snow and dumps it on Bela's head, rubbing it into her hair.
yelps a little. "Hey, common, that's *cold*!"
Yeah, but at least you used to it! *quickly picks up another snowball and throws it in her face*
yelps, shuddering. "That's *feezing*, hun, stop it!" Yet, he can't resist doing the same to her.
laughs, taking a few steps back, shivering.
started laughing and now can't stop.
gets ahold of himself and takes a deep breath, wrapping his arms around himself. "...now I'm cold."
nods. "I think it's time to go back."
notices her shiver and opens his arms to her, shivering himself. "C-Come here, hun."
nods. "Y-Yeah, b-but our body heat will w-warm us up f-faster than the wind."
wraps his arms around her, pulling her close. He gives a little laugh. "S-Shouldn't you know that? Y-You did live in *Russia*?"
nods. "W-We should get goin' t-then. 'Fore we g-get sick." Yet he doesn't let go of her.
nods. "Y-Yeah, I g-guess so." He doesn't want to let go of her, though.
laughs, letting go of her. "Yes ma'am!"
nods. "Good idea." He begins walking Bela back to her dorm.
also glad. They quickly reach her dorm, and he turns to her, shivering. "Uhm. I think this is when I'm supposed to be all cliche and tell
you that "I had a nice time" and "Let's do this again." But, I am soooo cold..."
nods. "I'll see you later, then."
looks down at his wet clothes before nodding. "Yeah, may--" He cuts himself off as the wind blows. He shudders. "Goddammit, I am so fucking
nods, shivering. "O-Okay..."
a happy sigh at the warmth. "...I think this is the best thing you've ever done for me."
laughs, shaking his head. "Letting me in the heat."
her a half-glare. "Shut up. It's *freezing*."
a little laugh, looking down at his hands. He bends his fingers. "...My fingers are completely numb..."
her hands are warmer than his. He squeezes her hands, trying to get feeling back into his.
slowly starting to feel his fingers. Slowly and painfully. "Ugh, why did I think this was a good idea, again?"
Ooh, so this is all *your* fault, then. *gives her a teasing smirk*
laughs. "I dunno, I'm sure I can think of something."
shrugs. "I haven't thought of it yet!"
nods, grinning. "You'll be the first person I tell."
shakes out his hands, hoping to get blood flowing to them. "Thanks."
looks back outside. "I guess I should get goin', huh?"
nods, but sighs, not wanting to go back out in the cold.
her a grin and pulls his jacket tighter around himself. "Well, I guess I'll go now."
nods. "Yeah, see you." He gives her a wink before heading out into the cold.
