my brother waited with a swollen appendix for 6 hours because the goddamn doctor needs to be scheduled fucking hell

a seemingly easy operation almost turned into a disaster when the appendix burst in the middle of operation

but if you guys are from my area (Pasay), just bring your loved ones to San Juan de Dios in Roxas Blvd

public hospital eh. parang sa Labor Hospital lang sa may amin, ilang daang babae ang nanganganak bawat araw

talagang hindi kaya ng overworked at underpaid na staff yung demand. :|

save nalang kung talagang hinire ka

ang PGH kasi ay ang ospital kung san nagprapracticum ang mga nurses ng UP, kaya walang sweldo siguro :3

haoson mostly interns. yung mga may sweldo ay mga senior doctors at nurses dun, and they're paid more than mmc or other private hospitals.

it IS a government-run hospital where you get consultation for free.

it's one of the best-run government hospitals, I'd like to add.

we cannot term the word best for some poor-service hospital even if it defines as the best under the governments management.. still sucks

madalas yung volunteer nursing thing. it's not at all uncommon. supply and demand, i guess.
