Our Kindergarten last yr was a nightmare. Kids too immature, screening not effective. Felt happy just to keep them contained in Library.

his first day woes will reduce significantly as he gets to know his kids. Has he read The first days of school--the Harry WOng book?

thanks for the encouragement, friends! I think he may have been given a few problem kids just b/c he's the only male teacher below 5th grade

everything is for the first time in kindergarten - exhausting! Poor digiDAD!

it will get better. It is hard to set up the routines but once they are set, they will know what is expected.

teachers who take kindergarten have it hard in the first semester - hope it gets easier for digiDAD

my first yr of tching was k-5 in an emotionally disabilities self cont. class it was...challenging

he has no full time assistant. shares one with the other five k teachers. 19 kids right now. supposed to get to 22
