is anyone else dismayed at Obama's choice of Biden as VP? I'm not sure I want someone so virulently anti-tech as a VP...

I hear that. Between what I dislike about Obama and his icky VP... I may be forced to vote for McCain even though he makes my skin crawl 2.

in general I've been disappointed with Obama since he became the nominee

I'm just disappointed period. I demand the right to decent candidates. I don't care what side - I just want someone decent.

What's worse is that no matter who wins, it' gonna be same old, same old. Makes you not want to vote. >.>

I hear that. I mean what's the point? Rep or Dem - they all the same. I live here with these jerkfaces. They all suck.

Meh. So the choice this year: Old Guy who can't stop using his POW story to justify EVERYthing....

or Young Guy who has no tech policy, but takes an anti-tech VP...

Gaaah I think the choices are the suck. Still hoping for a great vote splitting third candidate!!!

Lessig came out pretty strong for Obama in the primaries, and spoke very highly about his tech policy: www.lessig.org/blog/2008...

Then why Biden? If his tech policy is forward looking, why pick someone who's basically the complete opposite?

Because Obama is making bad choices? Or someone told him Biden was actually electable???

Biden is to give him more "old skool" credibility. Lame in my opinion, but I can see why he needed it

Bah. The reason why he's got so much momentum is his relative youth. *rolls eyes*
