Went and installed MySQL again, and now it works. (/etc/init.d/mysqld start). Thanks, couldn't have done it without you! ^_^
Now to make phpmyadmin work. D;
And if not, how do I start PHPmyadmin?
I've started Apache. I've installed PHPMyAdmin using YDL's software management tool, and I need to get to it/run it.
I typed that into terminal
Thanks for all the help, by the way. :O
But PHPMyAdmin is nowhere to be found. D;
Well, I know where the folder is, too, but there's just conf.inc.php in it.
It's blank and says, "leave blank for default port"
Nah, everything in that file is blank with "leave blank for default"
Trying to install phpmyadmin again, I think I may have forgone installing phpmyadmin scripts when I installed the phpmyadmin package.
I've given up, and am trying to get a database set up through command line
Because nobody has that ONE F*CKING LINE OF CODE in the googlesphere
Ok, figuring it out slowly, calming down.
Thanks for all the help, I really, really appreciate it. ^_^ Sorry for taking up your time! :O
